Low libido (sexual drive or desire) is an early warning sign of a low free testosterone level. Low testosterone level leads to higher mortality rates in men, according to an article in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology. Furthermore, an analysis of 18 studies in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute concluded that there is no correlation between testosterone levels and prostate cancer risk.
